ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for an Assistant Sales Operations Manager to lead the Market Planning (CFS) team to facilitate efficient and accurate order processing and execution through promotion of standardisation, compliance and master data integrity in line with the strategy set by Middle East & Africa Leadership team

Role Accountabilities:

• Lead and manage day to day performance of Market Planning team by developing and maintaining management systems to ensure optimal Customer service, delivery of IBP targets and timely Sales invoicing.
• Champion excellence in operational performance within the region through cooperation and collaboration with key stakeholders in the value chain.
• Demonstrate leadership and take ownership to ensure the team comply with standard systems and processes that promote stability in order execution activities and ensure Regulatory and VAT compliance

• Demonstrate leadership in customer and market data integrity and master data lifecycle process compliance.

• Accountable to manage and monitor the execution performance through lead indicators to ensure effective resolution of bottlenecks in our customer value chain that will impact our ability to meet the promise date to our customers.
• Effectively resolve prioritisation calls where capacity constraints across the value chain lead to conflict between the customer bases for the region.
• Be the key contact point in the region for resolution of customer supply chain operations issues or improvement requirements.
• Understand what customers value in terms of operational performance and can work with them to develop solutions for their business.
• Play an integral part in the success of a company’s Customer complaints handling processes and ensure complaints are resolved on time with highest Customer satisfaction and Fonterra’s interest
• Support the sales team in CVM action planning specifically as it relates to Operational Performance.
• Develop extensive knowledge of market/customer requirements.
• Build relationships with key customers at both Supply Chain and executive level
• Develop strong relationships based on mutual respect and trust with key customers in region, focusing on those stakeholders who meet the growth requirements outlined in the customer plans.

ABOUT YOU

You would possess the following:

• A Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Business/ Supply Chain
• Professional certification in Supply Chain
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Supply Planning and Material Management role within the FMCG industry
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Customer Service Management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, excel, PowerPoint etc.
