We are looking for a person to join Business Solutions team as a Client Dedicated Business Analyst.
We are looking for someone with attention to detail, a sense of ownership, good interpersonal skills and excellent communication & documentation skills.
You will work closely with our clients defining and refining the business needs into actionable user stories and requirement documents.
You will be instrumental in requirement analysis, identifying clients business needs and formulate it as per Fiserv application environment.
You will be working directly for the Fiserv Middle East Delivery team, you will serve a liaison between Client team and all Fiserv internal workstreams.
Your work will increase efficiency in the development process and reduce exceptions.
Key Responsibilities
Serves as the conduit between clients and internal delivery organization (development, testing and program / project management teams).
Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams during pre-project and project phases.
Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis.
Conduct / lead / attend requirements gathering workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
Translates business needs into functional and non-functional requirements for the IT organization and manage changes to such requirements.
Proactively communicate and collaborate with client and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver artifacts as needed.
Perform fit/gap analysis, create business requirements documents, requirement traceability matrix, and system specification documents as necessary according to standard templates and get them reviewed & approved by the relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate with design team and subject matter experts to ensure the solution meets the business objectives.
Conduct workshops to finalize system configuration and configure system in both test & production environments.
Provide consultancy on test scenarios (to both internal & client testing units) that may be required to validate developments or release impact.
Investigating, triaging and helping to resolve issues during the testing phases of the project / program.
Provide general consultancy on current functionalities across FirstVision Solution and support walk through of release notes
Performs additional job duties as required.
Basic Qualifications For Consideration
A Bachelors degree in a computer or engineering discipline.
Extensive SME Functional & Technical knowledge of Credit and Debit Issuing, Acquiring Solutions on card platforms.
Solid knowledge of Payments and cards industry. Expertise in First Vision / Vision PLUS processing platform.
Comfortable in working directly with the clients in customer-facing role
Experience in relationship and Stakeholder management
A solid understanding of card scheme functions.
Strong ability to transform / extract required details from high level business requests.
Knowledge of SDLC (Waterfall) is necessary & knowledge of Agile development methodologies is a plus.
Ability to work independently and manage workload to meet the required time frames or escalate capacity constraints accordingly.
Preferred Experience & Skills:
Experience in IT, Solution design, multi technology environment, and application integration projects.
Experience in payment card industry
Experience as Business Analyst in client facing roles.
Experienced in Solution space on working with payment card schemes and other 3rd parties (Credit Bureau, Embossing Bureau, CRM, Core Banking, Mobile Banking, Internet Banking)
Extensive work experience of Issuing and Acquiring product life cycles.
Leadership experience of Issuing and Acquiring projects is a plus
Experience of conversion / migration and setting up a new client on FirstVision / VisionPLUS
Detailed knowledge of FirstVision functionality and Fiservs surround products
Knowledge of any other card processing platforms other than FirstVision / VisionPLUS would be a plus.
