Job Description

Job Purpose:

The role seeks a Director to work with the Global Markets – Hybrid, Cross Asset & CVA Trading team.
The candidate will be a strong team player, with the ability and drive to collaborate with other members of the Hybrid, Cross Asset & CVA Trading and GM Sales & Products team to deliver best in class solutions.
The candidate will help to innovate and contribute to create more revenue opportunities for FAB while adhering to FAB key values.

Key Accountabilities:

Ensure adherence to all GM requirements across the client which are in-line with FAB’s regulatory, compliance and best practice standards; Ensure high quality execution and build/maintain strong relationship with GM Sales, GM Products, Relationship Mangers and other enablement partners; Ensure client / internal / monetary impacting issues are escalated appropriately to line manager within suitable time-frame; Ensure maximum optimization of customer flow activity, and cross selling opportunities to produce best in class flow to support the GM business; Understands and is able to lead the structured solutions business globally in a professional and competent manner; Promotes and encourages co-operation within the Global team. Maintaining an open dialogue between desks endorsing a transparent work environment; Anticipates customer needs and responds to requirements in a timely and efficient manner. Shows strength in building positive relationships with existing and new clients; Recognizes and demonstrates the ability to exploit new business avenues, generating additional flow for the unit up and beyond existing remit; Has comprehensive knowledge of the key financial and commercial performance indicators of the strategic business unit; Has the knowledge to advise the bank on the latest technology available for enhancing operational performance to suit the business needs; Demonstrates market awareness in relation to regulatory changes that could impact the business and take necessary steps to ensure compliance with the requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related discipline, a Masters Degree is preferred.

Minimum Experience:

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in trading/advisory and structuring solutions at a leading global bank;
