Expro Group are currently recruiting for a Purchasing Coordinator to join the Supply Chain Department team based in Dubai, UAE.

Overall Purpose of the Job:

To ensure the timely delivery of materials/equipment for a given location(s), aligned to the Global SCM Strategy.

Key Activities and Accountabilities:

• Review project deliverables and define against execution plan baselined against timelines.
• ensure schedule reporting and delivery promises are maintained.
• Work with key suppliers to develop relationships identifying suppliers that can be removed from the ASL.
• Ensure inventory transactions, records and activities are completed accurately, in a timely manner and in accordance with applicable Expro policies/procedures.
• Develop and implement procedures and metrics for the above as required and provide training for personnel.
• Actively adhere to the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, procedures and processes to ensure the highest ethical standards are maintained and exposure to liability or risk to Expro’s reputation is minimised. If necessary, report possible violations or conflicts of interest.
• Actively adhere to and ensure compliance with applicable Quality policies, procedures, processes and systems. Take an active part in quality improvement processes. Identify and report any deficiencies to supervisor and obtain authorisation for any deviations from standard procedures.
• Actively comply with all applicable Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and processes. Promote HSE awareness; take responsibility and be accountable for own safety and safety of others. Demonstrate the personal application of HSE procedures in daily performance and always follow the 10 Safety House Rules.
• Ensure objectives set under Employee Development Plan are met.

Job Knowledge and Qualifications:

• Mandatory- Previous experience of working within expediting role
• 5 years knowledge of asset related functionality within SAP and DocuCert
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and Powerpoint
• Knowledge of product line equipment
• Desirable- Lead auditor qualification
• Desirable- Sound understanding of ISO Quality and Environmental Standards
• Desirable- Good working knowledge of API Q2
