The ideal candidate will be organized and detail-oriented, ready to contribute to our dynamic team.Key Responsibilities: – Operate and program 5-axis CNC machinery, with training available for 6th Axis operations. – Utilize Alphacam CAD/CAM programming for efficient production. – Interpret technical drawings accurately to ensure precise construction. – Select high-quality timber with a discerning eye. – Plan and execute work to meet production deadlines effectively. – Innovate fixtures and jigs to enhance operational efficiency. – Maintain a commitment to safety, with first aid training or a willingness to learn. – Obtain a forklift truck license or demonstrate a willingness to learn.Essential Skills: – Methodical and precise approach to tasks, adhering to project timelines. – Eagerness to learn and develop professionally. – Positive and enthusiastic attitude, fostering teamwork. – Strong communication skills for collaboration with designers, draftspersons, and project managers. – Keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to improve processes. – Dedication to delivering high-quality workmanship and striving for excellence.Additional Information: – Competitive salary based on experience. – Permanent, full-time position available immediately. – Standard working hours from Monday to Friday. – Generous holiday allowance of 25 days plus bank holidays. – Company pension scheme and opportunities for career advancement. – Regular team events and updates to foster a strong company culture.
