Position Overview:
Sales Operations is a critical function within a Regional and District sales program. The role of Regional Sales Operations is to ensure alignment and execution of this critical function across the region. The focus of this position is to optimize the effectiveness of our salespeople and Sales Operations through communication and reporting. The RSO supports the execution of global and regional sales strategy and the delivery of a district sales program that is as productive, efficient, and effective as possible. In addition, the position requires a deep understanding of our Strategic Initiatives and Key Tactical Business Plans to support projects tied to Corporate and Regional growth objectives. The key drivers of the program are focused on Sales Stewardship, Sales Program Enablement, Business Analytics and Reporting.
This position reports to Director-Sales & Marketing, MAIR.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Drive the training and development of the Sales Operations team for the region
Personnel recording and tracking
Align district sales operations with regional goals and objectives
Management of performance metrics tied to branch sales operations
Management of projects tied to Sales tactical business plans (may include Vertical, CSM, and Named Account programs)
Provide support on strategic projects for Geo, Sales, Product, and Service leadership
Manage monthly delivery of key reports to Geo, Sales, Product, and Service leadership
Manage communication channels
Commission Program support
Coordinate leads for sales from various sources, including but not limited to, website inquiries, ad hoc projects, market intelligence, and targeted marketing campaigns
Support Sales teams by troubleshooting and problem solving systems and processes
Support customer visits and events, as needed
Maintain CRM data integrity
Organize webinars and other online events (such as seminars).
Support targeted marketing campaigns (understand your target market, compose engaging messaging with call to action).
Understanding of social media channels in a business environment, and their value for marketing activities.
Familiar with marketing communication and branding protocols.
Knowledge of inbound marketing methodology, such as blogging, landing pages, and forms.
