Caters to special order requests from customers. Prepares relevant documentation for transactions. Prepares billing breakdown and raises invoices in CFIT monthly. Supports team with backing up on other accounts when needed. Communicates with customers on daily operations. Escalates and aid in resolving operational issues. Maintains an organized and accurate system inventory for customers. Produces monthly KPI reports to be shared with customers. Follows up with customers for invoice approvals. Relationships:Coordinates with Warehouse staff to receive and release shipments. Maintains excellent working relationship with customers by proactively responding to all enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner. Reports customer feedback to management, incl. any signs of dissatisfaction. Liaison between customer and warehouse in administration of account. Liaison between customer and office regarding invoicing and credit changes. Clerical:Provides support with other miscellaneous projects, filing, and research. Oversees paperwork associated with orders and maintains corresponding files. Maintains a current and accurate procedures manual detailing the desk side processes undertaken to manage accounts. Qualifications Education – University Degree or equivalent Experience – Minimum 2 years of experience in the distribution department at Expeditors. Previous experience in inventory control and/or distribution operationsFully proficient with various software applications (i.e.; MS Word, MS Excel, any WMS)Typing – 30 wpm. 10-key by touch. Displays ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proactively communicated and suggests solutions. Knowledge/ Skills: General office knowledge, including telephone techniques and computer skills, in a customer service environment is required. Effective communication skills and good hearing is required. Attention to detail is essential. Bi-lingual abilities a plus. Special Requirements: Must have excellent work habits. Must pass a background check, if applicable in state, region, or geography.
