• Define and execute on data driven and automation enabled Technology Intelligence initiatives that support and align with the company’s overall strategy – Develop an overarching digital strategy to capture, store, secure, analyze and react to data, to deliver actionable insights in a near-real time environment – Facilitate automation of tasks through the implementation of robotics, sensors, data management and other related engineering (i.e. electronic, mechanical etc.) approaches – Manage data engineering and automation team(s) to build the necessary infrastructure and tools needed to support and enable fast tracked applications across the mining life cycle. – Work closely with technology vendors to identify and implement fit-for-purpose and cost-effective solutions that fit the companies needs – Assist in identification of technology trends and innovation within the mining industry, as well as other leading & influential industries where technology may be adapted from – Oversee and participate in research and development projects for fast-tracked development of Technology Intelligence applications – Assist in the road-mapping, assessment, adjudication, procurement, deployment, implementation and monitoring of selected technologies within the Technology Intelligence initiatives

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in instrumentation, electronics, data engineering, data science, robotics, sensors and automation – At least 5 years’ experience as a product manager, technology manager, digital manager, automation manager or similar role – Higher education (Specialist’s degree in Electronics, Automation and Control, Instrumentation, Product Management, Computer Engineering and Software, Data Management & Data Science, Information Systems, Exploration, Mining & Geology) – Experience in mineral exploration, geology, mining, mineral processing and data integration will be highly advantageous – Strong experience in product management, project management, research & development and technology deployment. Proven track record of practical innovation and R&D application success. – English – full professional proficiency
