Job Description
Experienced Litigation Legal Executive to provide legal and administration support to the Solicitors and FOI officer within ESB Networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage public liability claims through PIAB
- Support claims investigation procedures
- Prepare briefs and assist in preparation of documents and pleadings for Court hearings and Arbitrations
- Assist with all aspects of preparation for hearings and Arbitrations
- Briefing Counsel, Independent engineers, Doctors and other external experts
- Administration support to Networks Legal Team, paying invoices, costs and keeping case management system up to date
- Support Freedom of Information officer in meeting deadlines
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Desirable
- Excellent IT Skills and knowledge of case management software
- Problem solving and strong attention to detail;
- Team player with excellent communication skills;
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
Essential
- Legal Executive with 2-3 years
- Experience working in a busy Litigation and Dispute resolution environment
- Good knowledge of PIAB, Court and Arbitration procedures and litigation file management.
Location
Gateway 3, East Wall Road, Dublin 3. Remote working is a feature of this role.
