Job Description
Job Purpose & Scope:
To be responsible for the technical operations of the Group Magento e-commerce websites. The Technical Lead will work closely with Business, Digital Marketing, Infrastructure teams to govern the technical aspects of the websites.

Main Responsibilities:
- Handling a team of developers internally and externally.
- Requirement analysis, estimation, development.
- Translate functional requirements from business users into sound technical designs that meet business objectives.
- Proactively offer solutions to complex technical problems.
- Provide subject matter expertise for use of the Magento platform.
- Working with the infrastructure team, recommend architecture changes to improve performance and availability.
- Implement best practices and coding standards for technical projects.
- Will be the interface between the technical team and the Business entities
- Analyze, identify, research, and recommend technology and business solutions to meet business requirements and system standards.
- Control all technical integrations with e-commerce platforms, third-party app integrations, and the whole e-commerce stack.
- Responsible to lead all front end and back-end components, integrations, and customizations of app, website, and other digital platforms.
- Lead all activities related to testing and debugging at all levels, including system, integration and performance testing and provides feedback to the team.
- Ensure the customer database is maintained and right measures are deployed to retain the same in the back end.
- Validate defects reported and provide guidance on priority and next steps.
- Escalate appropriate problems in cross function matrix environment (involve other members outside the team when expertise is needed).
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / related field.
- 5 or more years of experience in programming e-commerce websites.
- Previous experience in leading e-commerce projects.
- Advanced knowledge in Magento version 2.* Community edition.
- Must have Front-End & Back-End Development experience in (PHP / HTML/HTML5, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript, XML, Responsive Mobile Design / SQL query / MySQL / GIT/ 3rd Party API Connections / ERP integration.
- Understanding of web analytics and SEO techniques.
- Ability to support/troubleshoot in an organized manner and execute methodically.
- Knowledge of AWS and Cloud technologies is a plus.
- Must have Excellent communication, analytical, presentation and problem solving skills.
- Experience in managing multiple stakeholders and managing expectations from a digital perspective within tight deadlines.
- Ability to translate user needs into technical solutions with the customer’s experience in mind.
- Ability to constantly motivate and encourage the team to give their best, especially during the time when they are pressurized with high targets.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks and to quickly switch focus between them.
- Understanding of customers’ business needs and priorities.
