Job Summary: You will serve as the global lead for Digital Sales Operations responsible for strategic transformation efforts, annual planning, and in quarter/day to day Sales Operations support for the Digital Sales Specialist team. This is a multi-stakeholder, entrepreneurial role that will regularly collaborate with regional Sales (SVP) and SalesOps (regional, motion, and functional) leadership in areas such as sales planning, coverage model design, and strategies for driving short- and long-term acceleration of digital revenue within territories, regions, and GTM (Field, Corporate, Channel, etc.). You must be an excellent communicator adept at partnering with and influencing matrixed reporting lines across, up, and down the organization.
Responsibilities
Sales Strategy
Consults on the development of regional, territory, or GTM (Corp, Field, etc.) digital sales growth strategies with Sales Leaders to achieve Equinix Sales objectives
Engages with Territory or Regional senior management to identify and prioritize key digital sales programs
Works with support functions (CSM, SE, SA, SSA, etc.) as needed to remove barriers to adoption, provide appropriate resources, and raise awareness internally
Planning & Program Support / Implementation
Leads regional or GTM annual sales planning processes (e.g., segmentation and targeting, sales quotas, STAR, territory design, forecasting, account planning, etc.) for digital sales
Leads regional or GTM cross-functional projects targeted at improving digital sales productivity and determines accurate measures to evaluate effectiveness
Identifies enhancements to Sales Operations services to improve, considers up- and down-stream impact of proposed changes, and manages change implementation plans
Transforms digital sales operations processes at a regional or GTM level (territory, quota, forecasting, STAR, etc.) to drive significant evolution in service / process execution
Handle cross-functional teams on system integration/upgrade projects and use Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to minimize waste and minimize variation
Business Performance Management
Manages reporting and dashboard production on quarterly basis for regional or GTM specific basis
Designs and enables dashboards within company reporting systems for end to end process
Monitors dashboards and is able to identify region or territory trends and shift team members into process improvement
Oversees regional or GTM modeling and sensitivity analysis to evaluate options
Process Improvement
Proactively identifies process improvement opportunities at the regions or territory level and leverages staffing and teams to drive improvements cross-functionally
Uses regional or territory influence along with functional authority to achieve process improvements and adoption
People Management
Develops functional strategy and objectives; Provides leadership and direction to the team, through subordinates, to ensure overall success of the team
Drives accountability for the performance and results of direct reports and smaller teams
Responsible for recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and coaching/developing all team members
Responsible for all hiring decisions and activities including job definition, interviewing, selection, and onboarding
Responsible for all employee decisions and activities including compensation, quarterly conversations, performance counseling, coaching, and career development
Ensures workload is balanced
Assesses employee engagement and develops and implements strategies and programs to improve it
Responsible for succession planning recommendations and contributing to and driving the people development strategy

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
15+ years’ Sales Operations experience, preferably working in SaaS/XaaS or Cloud with firms $50M to $500M in size
Prior experience in orchestrating a GTM transformation, preferably digital
Deep understanding of digital accounts, leads, opportunity & engagement models, preferably with a sales background
Ability to work in a fast pace and multi-task across projects with excellent communication and presentation skills
Hands on self-starter with plenty of drive and ambition
High business acumen and excellent storytelling capabilities (showcase data as insights) necessary, skilled in MS office and with financial modeling
Emotional intelligence to navigate day to day pivots needed for a high growth sales engine
Robust influence and change management skills able to manage across the organizational matrix
Consulting experience on the development of regional, territory, or GTM (Corp, Field, etc.) sales growth strategies a plus
