Job PurposeThe job holder carries out functions within the Strategy and Planning section which includes providing support in day to day management and execution of strategy and planning activities, along with tracking and analysing key industry developments for benchmarking purpose within the oil industry.Principal AccountabilitiesAssist in executing the Strategy Management and business planning process in line with the pre-defined framework (W process)Support in conceptualization and execution of strategy workshops. Coordinate with all business segments and corporate departments to avail the required information and/or documentsProvide support in identification of strategic targets in line with vision, goal and strategic aspirationConsolidate strategy workshop outcome and ensure proper communication is rolled out for alignment of various businesses and departmentsAssist in identifying assumptions related to business planning and budgeting exerciseCo-ordinate with Corporate departments and Shared Services in preparation of their respective business plansConduct financial and operational analysis of the business plans to highlight areas of concem to the management. Support the team in preparing necessary communication to advice businesses for any amendmentsSupport in the finalization of the Group consolidated plan and budget for availing endorsement from the CEO EXCOM and final approval from the BoardProvide support to the performance management team for translation of strategy using the scorecard frameworkPrepare necessary reports documents for Board and GCEO depicting Strategy Implementation and Performance updateMonitor latest developments in oil & gas industry and broader energy market at a global level on a regular basis. Conduct analysis of the potential impact arising from such factors on the business performance in the short as well as long termIdentify peer companies and conduct benchmarking of ENOC against them with respect to the key relevant business drivers at global as well as domestic levels. In addition to this, closely monitor the strategic responses adopted by the peer companies/ competition in changing business environmentProvide holistic support in performance management system implementation and subsequent managementDevelop and execute internal communication plan with respect to strategy and performance management.Conceptualize continuous improvements in strategy and planning process in order to make it more focused, integrated and effective. Work on developing and maintaining the relevant department policies and proceduresAssist other departments within the SPPM function during any assignments as and when deemed necessaryMinimum RequirementsMaster’s degree in Business Administration (strategy/finance/operations)Minimum 4-5 years of experience in strategy, planning, and a good understanding of oil and gas industry value chain3+ years’ experience in oil and gas indust1Y preferredStrong analytical (quantitative/qualitative) skills with demonstrated proficiency in spreadsheets, word processing and presentation programs.A positive and pro-active attitude with a strong teamwork ethos.Open and confident communicator able to deal effectively at very senior levels of engagement. Strong business writing and presentation skillsExcellent knowledge of spoken and written English.
