Context of the job
We are currently in the process of scaling up our Middle East team. In this context, we are looking for a Business Controller and HR Admin based in Dubai for all activities of our Middle East and KSA branches.
As Business controller and HR admin
As Business controller and HR admin, you will play an active role in operational support activities in collaboration with our Belgian Headquarter.
More concretely, you will:
- Act as our Single Point Of Contact for all Finance & HR related matter with our Headquarter in Belgium.
- In collaboration with the HQ / Finance team:
- Responsible for Business control:
- Financial reporting
- Control of business processes and budgeting
- Cost follow up and optimization
- Contract follow up
- Exchange rates etc
- Responsible for all accountancy activities (bank and SAP):
- Bank payments
- Manage all account transactions
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- both in IFRS and local GAAP
- Handling all local governmental requirements
- VAT
- Corporate taxes
- Responsible for Business control:
- In collaboration with HR:
- Handling payroll
- Contract issues …

We are looking for a Business controller and HR admin fluent in Arabic and English.
More concretely, you have:
- a first experience as business controller, an experience as HR admin is a plus
- a service-oriented mind and proactive
- an ability to adapt easily / stress resistant (urgencies, change of scope etc).
- a very practical mind and able to take initiatives when needed;
- a capacity to work independently within an international context
- strong communication skills in English and Arabic
