Senior Electrical Design Engineer (Building Services)
Dubai, UAE
27,000 – 30,000 AED per month + benefits
Excellent opportunity for an experienced, passionate Senior Electrical Design Engineer from a building services MEP design background, to join a growing international consultancy in the heart of Dubai.
THE SENIOR ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER ROLE
Working within a closely knit, experienced and multi-disciplinary MEP Design team in the heart of Dubai, your excellent Electrical Building services MEP design skills across ELV, LV and MV systems from concept to detailed design, will be utilised across a variety of project sectors.
Project sectors across the UAE, Qatar and KSA will give you variety in your work, across retail, data centre, leisure, residential, commercial office fit-out and hotels.
As the Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will be a true self starter, able to work proactively and independently. You will be hands on technically & with your strong communication skills shall communicate very effectively with internal colleagues, clients and stakeholders.
You will be an excellent mentor with the natural ability and charisma to motivate younger engineers by encouraging and inspiring them to innovate, develop and succeed.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelors or Masters qualified in Electrical / Building Services Engineering
- MCIBSE/MIEE preferred
- UAE Society of Engineer Membership (SOE)
- Extensive consultancy experience in electrical building services design -ELV, LV, MV systems.
- Sound knowledge of key Health and Safety issues and legislation
- Knowledge of MS Office applications word, excel etc.
- Ability to use IT based calculation and spreadsheet software
- Excellent communication skills
- Good understanding of BS standards, DEWA & NFPA Regulations
