Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the management of data and documentation processes, ensuring that all legal records related to aircraft operational data, maintenance inputs, and asset component compliance are maintained to recognized standards as mandated by regulatory authorities.Lead a team of Senior Technical Records Assistants, ensuring the timely update of aircraft operational and maintenance data into the engineering systems, including the preparation and distribution of weekly operational and fuel consumption reports.Guarantee that all electronic and hard copy documentation for aircraft, engines, APUs, and components is retained in compliance with regulatory and lessor requirements, ensuring secure archiving for easy retrieval.Conduct internal audits to ensure the accuracy of aircraft, engine, and APU logbooks, updating them with operational, maintenance, and Airworthiness Directive data, and ensuring proper certification within the QA authorization scope.Address discrepancies in maintenance information used by engineering and flight personnel, ensuring accurate recording of total airframe hours in operational maintenance records.Review aircraft maintenance work-packs for completeness, correcting discrepancies in consultation with relevant sections before archiving, and manage control mechanisms for ‘Hard Time’ and ‘Time Controlled’ assets.Maintain the Airworthiness Directive database, preparing status reports to support audit activities, ensuring all records are accurate and updated promptly.Propose and implement enhancements to adapt to technological advancements and optimize processes, focusing on cost reduction and efficiency improvements.Facilitate continuous development and training for team members, providing mentoring and feedback to enhance their skills and productivity in alignment with corporate objectives.Qualifications & ExperienceTo be eligible for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:Experience in Engineering, Technical Records, or Library management.Educational background: Minimum of 10 years of schooling or equivalent, with at least 6 years of relevant experience.Preferred: QA authorization for stamp approval for relevant functions.Required: Experience in aviation records or a related technical administration role, with familiarity in Digital Recording/Archiving Systems being advantageous.Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Office.Desirable: Knowledge of Airline/MRO Maintenance & Engineering data management and digital documentation systems.Understanding of aircraft maintenance documentation and records, including AMM, IPC, AMS/CMS, and Work Pack Task cards/reports is a plus.
