Technician

Applications are invited for the position of Technician for the following categories: –

• Automation
• Catering Equipments (Mechanical)
• Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• Facilities Management (General Maintenance & MEP)

Key Accountabilities

Carry out all scheduled / non- scheduled repairs, maintenance, and construction work under the guidance of the concerned Supervisor in the most efficient manner.

Contribute in the development and implementation of the maintenance management systems.

Inspect and record all necessary readings on a log sheet or checklist.

Coordinate efforts across Junior Technicians to make sure all tasks are completed in a timely fashion.

Keep abreast on the installation procedures / documents of the new machines that are to be installed and prepare the necessary documentations.

Communicate with supervisor on the work performed and handover jobs that are still pending before the end of the shift.

Read and understand basic drawings, operational and maintenance manuals.

Coordinate with the Supervisor to purchase spare parts for the job that is not completed during the shift.

Ensure proper handling of tools and optimizes use of consumables.

Ensure that all work activities are carried out in an efficient, professional and tidy manner before, after and during the job.

Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment’s (PPE’s) while executing the job, always apply the safety standard.

Apply the Quality Policy and Quality System established in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 International Standards and execute his/her responsibility according to the department work procedures reflecting EKFC Quality Policy.

Essential Requirements and Competencies

A Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Control or Industrial Engineering from recognized college and institute.

Minimum 3 years; experience or hands on work experience in similar position in Hospitality, Catering, Facility Management or Project Management Industry.

Desirable Requirements and Competencies

Knowledgeable work and application of safety procedures or standard.

Needs technical & analytical skills.

Can handle decision making.
