Job Purpose: Control daily operational activities of the VIP Flight Operations and assist the Operations Management to supervise the workforce and coordinate with the VIP clients, internal stakeholders and any other external stake holders to ensure people, production and catering services are operated in the most efficient and safe manner to ensure that the VIP and Business Aviation Customers receive the highest standards of service and product.Key Result Areas:• Ensure professional supervision of assigned staff by training, motivating and counselling to achieve the objectives agreed upon and provide the necessary guidance whenever required.• Liaise with the VIP Customers and Crew in relation to catering and any additional service that may be requested on a flight-to-flight basis.• Ensure all customers are provided with the best quality of food and service through cost effective and efficient management, assuring continuous improvement of food items.• Represent the company to VIP customers; answer Customer / VIP Crew queries on catering orders and invoices, prepares the catering order forms and forward them to all concerned sections to fulfil the requirements and meet customer expectations• Carry out spot-checks at the operations section and on the ramp in order to ensure that food and equipment are provided as per the airline standards on schedule• Check all the checklists and other relevant documents and make sure that they are completed and duly signed by all concerned before forwarding them to the Accounts Department• Demonstrated ability to identify and implement corrective actions arising from incident investigations.• Ensure that the standards of the service and the quality of food items are maintained to a satisfactory level.• Implement new products, process improvements and cost saving initiatives to achieve business objectives and financial results.• Generate monthly sales reports to assess financial performance of the VIP business by zone (DWC/DXB) • Monitor the daily resource allocation and escalate any significant variances to Operations Management and Business Support. Ensure briefings and shift handovers are communicated to all relevant stakeholdersKnowledge, Skills & Minimum Experience:Education Qualification: • Diploma or equivalent qualification preferably in Business, Hotel Management or Hospitality (Must have) • Certifications/Licensure related to Food Safety, Hospitality (Preferred)Work Experience: • Years of Experience: 4 years• Area of Experience: Hospitality or Catering Operations function within either Business Aviation, Fixed Based Operations (FBO), VIP Private Flight cabin crew, Airline (Inflight) Catering and/or HORECA Industry (preferred)• 2 years exposure in a supervisory capacity (preferred)Skills:• Strong written, verbal, and communication skills• Ability to set priorities and assign work to team• Ability to maintain records and prepare reports with strong attention to detail• Ability to resolve customer complaints and anticipate emerging customer needs to continually improve service standards• Ability to work and prosper in a flexible dynamic team environment with a demonstrated ability to manage staff• Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively• Knowledge of various food service styles (F&B Knowledge)• Dubai Driving licence (required to travel between locations / Airports)• Time and resource management skills• Delivers effective, well-structured written/ spoken communication, with impact and energy• Ability to collaborate cross functionally and at all levels and team based approach including ability to positively manage conflict• Good knowledge in MS Office applications and ERP systems
