Light Duty Driver (Female) – Transport Operations
Applications are invited for the position of Light Duty Driver – Transport Operations
vReports to: Assistant Operations Manager
vLocation : Dubai International Airport Terminal 1
vDepartment : Airside Operations
Key Accountabilities
ØEnsure punctual and efficient delivery and collection to and from the designated places on time.
ØEnsure that all deliveries are supplied as per laid down procedures.
ØProvide reports on all collections, deliveries and fuel usage.
ØAssist and guide staff in the loading and unloading of items.
ØEnsure safe driving practice in compliance with UAE road traffic regulations at all times.
ØAssist in carrying out vehicle maintenance checks and make sure to report any mechanicalbreakdowns for corrective action to be taken.
ØApply the Quality Policy and Quality System established in accordance with ISO 9001: 2000 international standards and execute all responsibilities according to the department work procedures while reflecting EKFC Quality Policy.
ØComply with the Company Occupational Health and Safety Policy.
Essential Requirements and Competencies
Qualifications:
ØSecondary school or equivalent qualification.
ØValid UAE Driving License with License No 3, Light Vehicle with Gear (Manual).
ØPrevious experience of minimum 12 months as a Light Duty Driver in the UAE
ØExperience driving in an Airport, Container Port or Logistics center is preferred.
ØKnowledge of vehicle inspection and maintenance.
ØCommunication skills in English.
ØAble to work under pressure.

ØAbility to collaborate a team based approach including ability to positively manage conflict.
ØDeliver well structured written/ spoken communication, with impact and energy.
