JOB PURPOSE To oversee and manage various aspects related to the infrastructure and facilities to support the smooth operations of EMAAR malls. This role is crucial in ensuring that EMAAR Malls’ properties are well-maintained, operate smoothly and provide a safe and enjoyable experience for visitors and tenants.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement strategic plans for effective facility management aligned with Emaar Malls’ objectives and standards.Oversee the maintenance and operation of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, escalators, elevators and other essential infrastructure components.Develop and manage budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation without compromising quality.Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety protocols, and industry standards as well as implement and maintain emergency preparedness plans.Lead and motivate a team of facilities management professionals by providing feedback, guidance, training, and fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.Provide regular reports to senior management on facility performance, key metrics, and propose improvements.QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & LANGUAGE PROFICIENCYBachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering 15+ years of experience in a similar leadership role within large luxury Facilities Management environment In-depth knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, energy savings, green initiatives, waste management, renewable energy Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, problem-solving skillsUnderstanding of local regulations, safety codes, compliance standards
