Role Brief:We are seeking an experienced Events Management Specialist to lead the planning, execution, and management of high-profile mega events. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale events involving significant logistics, multiple stakeholders and substantial budgets. This position requires strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills.Key Responsibilities: Event Planning and Strategy:Develop a comprehensive event plan, including concept development, budget management, scheduling and resource allocation.Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define event objectives, scope, and success metrics.Create event themes, branding, and promotional strategies aligned with the overall event vision. Project Management:Oversee all aspects of event production, including timelines, venue selection, catering, permits, and audiovisual requirements.Lead cross-functional teams, including event planners, vendors, suppliers, and contractors, to ensure smooth event execution. Logistics Management:Coordinate large-scale logistics, including transportation, on-site management, crowd control, security, and risk management.Develop contingency plans and manage potential issues during events to ensure the safety of attendees and a positive experience.Ensure all relevant permits, insurance, and health and safety requirements are met. Budget and Financial Oversight:Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to optimize cost efficiency.Track and reconcile event-related expenditures and provide financial reporting to stakeholders. Stakeholder and Client Management:Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, sponsors, and key stakeholders throughout the event lifecycle.Build and maintain long-term relationships with stakeholders to facilitate future event opportunities.Prepare and deliver presentations, progress reports and post-event evaluations.Key Requirements:Minimum 3-5 years of experience within events with exposure to large scale projects.Strategic aptitude, budgeting and project management skills.Strong leadership and client-service skills, with proven ability to lead people as well as plan and implement successful marketing strategies.Highly motivated with strong personal work ethic and ability to have strong customer service attitude with all employees. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
