Ellington Properties Hiring for Technical Architect Job at Dubai Full Time

To expand our practice in UAE, we are looking for a right-brained Technical Architect to perform all phases of architectural work including planning, designing and overseeing the construction. You will be involved in new building designs, extensions, alterations, restorations and conservations from the earliest stages right through to completion. The goal is to match client’s needs and to produce sustainable, functional and aesthetically pleasing designs.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Manage Design and technical reviews of drawing packages through concept to tender packs – architectural, MEP, Structural, landscape, specification, BoQ etc.
• Coordination of services review SMEP
• Review and coordination of façade, BMU systems, External lighting, vertical circulation.
• Continuous awareness of VE opportunities through all design stages
• Control project from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design
• Take the “brief” to identify clients’ needs and put together feasibility reports and design proposals
• Develop ideas keeping in mind client’s needs, building’s usage and environmental impact
• Produce detailed blueprints and make any necessary corrections
• Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations
• Make on site visits to check on project status and report on project
• Cooperate and liaise with construction professionals
• Follow architectural trends and advancements

Skills and Qualification:

• Qualified Architect (min 10 years’ experience)
• Strong knowledge of all Dubai Authority regulation and international standards
• Work to demanding deadlines and on multiple projects simultaneously
• Awareness of new products on the market and technical implementation
• Dubai Experience of Residential apartments building design and site delivery (50 Storeys)
• Personable and work within a team environment
