Job Description for Interior Design Site Supervision Role
An Interior Design Site supervisor with an excellent knowledge in interior installation, and with proven track-record of creating successful implementations is required.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct weekly site meeting, inspections and any other meeting required with contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Conduct periodic visits to the project site for supervision and inspection in order to verify if work is being performed according to contract documents
- Propose accurate solutions aligned with project requirements to outstanding points that were captured during site inspection;
- Evaluate and monitor the works executed on site, while ensuring all follows Ellington standards and the correct implementation of design documents such as drawings, plans, material quality and other engineering data.
- Shop drawings and Material Review.
- Respond to contractor’s requests for information (RFI’s)
- Monthly reports to Ellington noting progress and any key revisions to design or materials.
- To understand the technical requirements of the work and be able to explain the same to others
- Set project goals and oversee projects to completion.
- Prepare interim and final reports and submit to the management.
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design or Architecture
- Must have minimum of 7 Years of Experience in the Residential Interior Industry with at least 4 years of experience at construction sites (ID)
- Should have excellent communication skills & capability of coordinating with clients, consultants, Contractors & Vendors.
- Must Have UAE Experience
- A great eye for details
- Candidate should be good at multi-tasking and Pleasant personality.
- Candidate must be self-motivated, energetic, team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Keeping up to date with new developments in the design industry.
- Experience of Auto-CAD and MS Office is must.
- Should have preferably worked on implementation of interiors for high end premium Villas/ Residential Projects
