Position OverviewThe Electric Vehicle Technician will be responsible for executing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on electric vehicles utilizing specialized tools and equipment.Key Responsibilities:Conduct thorough diagnostics and perform maintenance on electric vehicles to ensure peak performance and safety.Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electric vehicles.Repair and replace essential vehicle components, including batteries, motors, inverters, and electronic control units.Identify and resolve electrical, mechanical, and software-related issues in electric vehicles.Install, repair, and replace electrical components such as batteries, alternators, starters, wiring harnesses, and lighting systems.Maintain comprehensive records of all maintenance and repair activities performed on electric vehicles.Replace or repair defective components, including batteries, motors, inverters, and other electrical systems.Utilize diagnostic tools and software effectively to identify and troubleshoot vehicle issues.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent is required.An associate degree or certificate in automotive technology or a related field is preferred.ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification is advantageous.Prior experience as an Electrical Technician with significant exposure to electric vehicles is essential.Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for vehicle repairs is required.
