Ecocoast Contracting LLC Hiring for Operations Engineer Job at Dubai Full Time

Job Purpose:

Ecocoast, a global leader in engineered products for the protection of coastlines, waterways and floating structures, is looking for a hands-on, pro-active and talented Operations Engineer. The role will be mainly responsible in efficiently managing all the activities in the Company’s fabrication facility, including machinery and equipment maintenance, fabrication works, project mobilization and demobilization, tool and material inventory and maintenance, driver schedule and allocation. The role will also be responsible in coordinating all staff activities relating to the fabrication facility and site works.

Responsibilities:

• Assists in the planning and implementation of marine products installation & maintenance assigned until completion and close outs ensuring delivery on time and maintains proper documentations.
• Manages fabrication of materials and equipment as per project requirements and maintaining QA standards.
• Handles incoming and outgoing deliveries, including project mobilization and demobilisation.
• Ensures overall operation and layout of yard in a smooth, in order and safe manner.
• Safeguards yard operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Ensures all tools and yard materials are maintained and inventory records maintained with accuracy.
• Leads both preventative and corrective maintenance of yard assets (boats, vehicles, beach cleaning machines, generators, diving equipment, etc.) and ensures all equipment and machinery is kept in working condition, performing routine maintenance, and keeping accurate records.
• Proper implementation of staff allocation and prepare daily driver schedule plan according to project requirements and any other business needs.
• Keeping accurate records of staff and yard activities.
• Ensure implementation of QA/QC and HSE system in the yard.
• Leads in the investigation and reporting of incidents on site or yard.
• Any ad-hoc tasks assigned from time to time.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as Operations Engineer, or similar role within SME (small-medium enterprise), preferably in the marine industry, including marine barriers, aids to navigation, inland waterways, oil containment, turbidity measures, coastal protection & aquaculture will help you get on board.
• Hands on approach, experience leading small to medium-size teams including drivers, labours as well as engineers and technical profiles.
• Experience installation services, maintenance, project tracking, creating organizational consensus, and managing deadlines with a strong sense of urgency.
• Demonstrated success in coordinating site activities and resource management.
• Demonstrated experience in machinery and equipment (preventative and corrective) maintenance.
• Has the passion for working in a fast-paced agile product & services environment, fulfilling Client requirements.
• Knowledge in QA/QC and HSE system.
• Preferably Bachelor’s degree in Marine/Coastal Engineering, Civil, Mechanical Engineering or any relevant technical discipline.
• Holder of a valid UAE driving license is a plus.
