Job Purpose – Mission:

To support Ecocoast as the leading provider of engineered marine protection, safety and demarcation products globally. This role should help establishing Ecocoast as technical leader in both, quality of technical service but also product development and improvement.

What does the role involve?

Support Engineer will be the link between Engineering, Production and Sales. The role will be directly responsible for issuing accurate estimations on time and providing technical support to Sales team during tendering stage. As a part of Engineering team, the role will be involved in other technical tasks, such as providing ideas during R&D process, 2D and 3D Drafting, preparation of technical documents, etc.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

Experience & Qualifications

• Engineers with background in Project management for construction, site engineers, site managers or any other areas which are not specified into the requirements will not be considered.
• 2-5 years’ experience in departments: Estimation, Technical Support, Design, and Research & Development (R&D) in marine industry is a must.
• Mandatory experience in the following fields: Marine, Aids to Navigation, Plastic/Rubber, Geotextile, Roto-moulding, Automotive, Appliances, and Design Engineering.
• Mandatory experience in mechanical design in solid edge software or similar.
• Experience in developing new products relating to marine protection, navigation, recreation, safety & security, and pollution management.
• Experience in fabrication methodologies and systems.
• Proven track record in delivering projects focused on product development, engineering and/or research.
• Broad knowledge and technical understanding of main materials used in marine environment (steel, PVC/PU coasted fabrics, geotextile, etc.) gained in the marine or similar industry, and ideally with experience in the field of marine products.
• Professional engineering qualification leading to Mechanical, Marine, and/or Coastal is preferrable.
