Job Description
Define the Products and Systems marketing planning, strategy and roadmap while closing the products gap analysis and assessing the need of an NPD.
Manage products throughout the entire Product Lifecycle in all the segments of the business while focusing on product performance, estimate the product expected life, manage product rationalization, suggesting change management as & when required keeping long term growth as objective.
Maintain and manage Products and Systems literature and marketing collaterals (packaging, datasheets, brochures, ) up to date in relation with Graphic designer and maintain PIM database
Assesses market with competition analysis, collecting data related to their products range, systems performances, specificities and stay up to date to latest innovations
Defining product marketing communication objectives
Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
Develop solution oriented services which can improve our existing position in the market for example launch of delivered service
Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
Continue professional and technical education, attending workshops, seminars, etc.
Understand the dynamics of existing markets/channels by carrying out solid stakeholder interviews and market study, and how the drives of demand in each will affect future demand by developing/updating market sizing, quantifying growth opportunities, and helping achieve volume targets based on market potential and business strategy
Initiate new products and systems development or improvement, including liaising/ facilitating testing and controlling VC and margins. Key responsibility to improve the profitability of products through strategic pricing methods and strategic action plan in the market.
Identify existing customer needs via NPS survey, interviews and follow-up launch activities, develop product feature/ value proposition and marketing collaterals (brochures, leaflets, technical guides, )
Identify existing top-tier segments needs & growth opportunities and develop segment value proposition
Liaise and take leadership roles on marketing contribution on tools such as PIM, BIM, System Selector, e-shop.
Initiate and work closely with sales team to improve go-to-market and develop sales internal training or strengthen on product education to installers or even end-customers
Control and monitor product and system development budget (testing, promotion & product communication) in line with marketing plan to support for achievement of optimum ROI, aligned to financial analysis & reporting.
Desired Candidate Profile
Individual should hold bachelors degree in product design, or a related field with 3 years of experience in product development of building materials products like Infra, MEP , Drywall, chemicals, paints, hardware and sanitary etc. and possess knowledge of product design and development processes with excellent communication & project management skills.
