Description:

We are looking for an Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. Accountant responsibilities including auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Manage all accounting transactions.
Prepare budget forecasts.
Publish financial statements in time.
Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
Ensure timely bank payments.
Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity.
Audit financial transactions and documents.
Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
Comply with financial policies and regulations

SKILLS & PREREQUISITES

1-2 years of Real Estate experience in U.A.E required.
Bachelor’s degree required, concentration in accounting or finance preferred.
Strong knowledge of corporate finance, VAT/Tax and other accounting theory, principles and practices including GAAP, SaaS accounting, prepaid expenses & accrued revenue.
Ability to prepare statistical reports and analyze financial reports.
Knowledge of research techniques to analyze data and make recommendations along with AML & Corporate tax.
Ability to describe accounting systems and processes in written correspondence and in procedure manual format.
Ability to perform mathematical computations accurately and quickly, including computation of ratios and percentages.
Strong knowledge of and experience with international tax processes.
Mastery knowledge of Microsoft Office accounting software including QuickBooks.
Comfort in the startup environment (i.e., fast pace, deadlines) and able to create structure and foundational accounting processes.
Strong priority management skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Must be fluent in English. (Arabic preferred).

Real Estate experienced preferred.
