Job description

The Pet Shop LLC is looking for Route Planner for Dubai location. This position is responsible for daily route planning of all orders generated by the online sales team for a given delivery date. This role is to optimize efficiencies across all delivery systems while providing satisfactory customer service to external customers. This is accomplished by designing effective sequential routing that will use the optimal number of delivery vehicles for a given delivery date. This position has extremely time sensitive deadlines, requires high attention to detail and ability to focus intensely for extended periods of time.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure proper order assignment, verify and make corrections to orders in the Route Planning system
• Create assignment of orders to a delivery route and perform customer maintenance in Google drive to accommodate movement between route types.
• Determine the correct routing by balancing the workload across the different route types.
• Utilize planning software to plan correct number of delivery routes based on the orders necessary to meet the business requirements.
• Utilize current systems, to complete the route planning process.
• Communicate to logistics team that routing is complete.
• Ensure all products from planned routes will fit properly to assigned vehicles.

Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft products
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to develop cross-functional/customer relationships and interact effectively with others in a team environment
• Results oriented, desire and drive for continuous improvement
• Previous Route Planning experience preferred
• Basic Knowledge of UAE geography
• Valid UAE Driving license will be an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: AED3,000.00 – AED3,500.00 per month
