DSV Hiring for Senior Controlling Manager Job at Dubai Full Time

The DSV group, headquartered in Denmark, is one of the biggest transport and logistics companies in the world, with more than 75.000 dedicated employees. We are now looking to expand our team with a new Senior Controlling Manager for Dubai for our 3 divisions.

The Senior Controlling Managers responsibility is analyzing the P&L (till net result) reporting of different entities within given entities. To support the country Management with clear and objective comments on different daily business maters based on the site performance and provide Operations with a means of guidance on its decisions regarding its business performance. To follow up for any risk that might arise from the open items within the balance sheet.

Key tasks / responsibilities

• Review SAP & SAP BPC internal reporting and provide detail comments on the main events that occurred during the month
• Analyze and improve the different process regarding the estimations of the work in progress and gross profit
• Be the single point of contact for the questions coming from Country Management
• Manage the local Finance steam in the country
• Analyze the site results and propose different initiatives to improve the profitability
• Ensure the SAP Controlling structure is validated by the business and afterwards transferred to the Region for updating in SAP
• Follow-up the evolution of the gross profit in terms of volumes/margin and deliver a forecast for month end
• Prepare the P&L budget and Forecast based on the SAP BPC tools
• Follow-up the balance sheet to ensure we do not carry any risk and balance is correctly reflecting our Financials positions
• Participate in the Local Management meetings representing the R-SSC
• Ensure that the different financial processes are respected locally not only by the Finance employees but also Operational persons
• Support the preparation of the different audits and Group Controlling visits
• Follow-up the Webcost / Operational KPI’s (e.g. auto-posting)
• Support the follow-up of the overheads cost
• Support in issuance of Audited Financial Statements
• Support RSSC in all adhoc requests
• Lead and manage a team of 10

Qualifications & Characteristics:

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Finance/Controlling experience with solid experience in Finance, business performance, planning and analysis
• Good communication skills towards local Finance department, Local Management, RSSC, I-SSC and Group Finance.
• Have a creative and problem-solving approach
• Ability and willingness to work under tight deadlines
• Fluent in English + local country language
• Good working Knowledge of MS Office & SAP
