DRAWLINES CONSULT is looking for an MEP BIM COORDINATOR in our Dubai Office and we are looking for an enthusiastic & dynamic BIM Coordinator.

Daily Duties/Tasks

• Implementing Revit MEP, Architecture, and Structure in the projects.

• Interact with Architects, Structural Engineers, and MEP Engineers to quickly and accurately create Shop Drawings during the design and coordination process.

• BIM coordinator focuses on projects to assist and support the implementation of our digital solutions for project coordination.
• BIM (BIM execution plan) guidance and development, Ensures project compliance with the approved BE
• Follow client BIM requirements, Prepare MIDP and TIDP
• Establish, develop and implement BIM processes and workflows
• Responsible for setting the overall quality standards of the technical and production works.
• Reviews and applies the multidiscipline coordination process (defined by the BIM Manager).
• Support, mentor and Assist team members with 3D software and workflows.
• Model Auditing & Checking BIM Requirements, adhere to BIM Standard manual
• Managing & coordinating collaboration & delivery through Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM360)
• Condition model information & parameter data in Civil3D models to meet information management strategy & model coordination procedure
• Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs using NavisWorks Manage
• Maximize model management using Dynamo
• Plan and conduct BIM training for end-users, ensuring a complete understanding of the standards and modeling guidelines.
• Evaluate new BIM-related software and technologies
• Ability to work in a team environment

Additional responsibilities are as follows:

• Ensures compliance with the approved BIM Execution and BIM Scope Plans
• Assemble composite design models for coordination meetings
• Facilitate use of composite design models in design coordination/clash detection meetings and provide detection reports by the identification and resolution of all hard and soft collisions
• Coordinate BIM file exchange and archiving of milestone submittal
• COBie Integration for Facility management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years of Revit and AutoCAD experience.
• Familiarity with BIM 200 UP TO 500.
• Understanding building architectural and engineering drawings
• Solid understanding of legacy CAD applications and practices, particularly AutoCAD
• Familiarity with Design Visualization applications such as Autodesk 360 (Cloud Rendering), and Navisworks
