Our ships sail across the English Channel, North Sea & Irish Sea and we employ almost 2000 people.As the Senior Banking Clerk, you will be responsible for reconciling various bank/credit card/control accounts and ensuring they are completed to deadline. In this role you will be organised and numerate as well as having an eye for detail as the position involves inputting and processing data to ensure accurate reporting.Location – Dover What You Will Be DoingProcessing of sales returns and inputting the data to coda via journalAllocation and input to coda of bank statementsResolve queries working closely with other internal departmentsReconciliation of bank accounts and credit card control accountsAllocation of petty cash returns (ships and ports) and input to codaWhat We Need From YouExcellent communication skillsIdeally previous experience in a similar environmentIT Literate with an excellent knowledge of ExcelA methodical and accurate attention to detailConfident with working to deadlines and a person flexible in their approachAt P&O Ferries we want you to be you.
