McCloskey by OPIS, a Dow Jones company, requires a highly motivated salesperson. The location for this position is Dubai with travel throughout the EMEA. Reporting into the Executive Director, Sales/Business Development you are sales professionals having expertise calling on senior executives in the Coal, metals, mining and commodity trading Industries and related market segments, offering a unique value proposition, delivering solutions and selling solutions specific to customer needs, whether identified by the potential client or through the discovery process performed by the Account Manager You have closing skills, be extremely persistent, be willing to prospect, be money motivated, be effective at building relationships, have keen listening skills, be can ask probing questions, with outstanding phone and interpersonal skills. Working knowledge of business economics and comfort in discussing value propositions with customers is required.

You Will:
- Follow up on sales enquiries within agreed time frames to open sales opportunities
- Schedule activity around review calls, renewal calls and customer queries
- Initiate and answer sales calls for McCloskey products and services
- Conduct telephone conversations to identify and qualify prospective customers and records
- sales prospecting activity in the NetSuite system
- Prioritise customer satisfaction
- Develop/implement a clear strategy to exceed the quota
- Develop knowledge of the sales value proposition of McCloskey services and products and how they fit into the requirements of our clients
- Develop relationships with assigned customers to ensure long-term partnerships
- Maintain existing client base and sales into new accounts
- Prepare and submit accurate sales reporting and forecasting
- Achieve specific monthly, quarterly and annual sales quota
- Create referrals and new business leads
- Respond to customer calls regarding a specific set of products and services and identify up
- Sell opportunities for such calls
- Grow revenue at existing and new clients
You Have:
- 3 to 5 years experience managing end-to-end sales for new and renewal business
- Knowledge and genuine interest in the Energy industry
- Highly organized and efficient at managing daily business with multiple priorities
- English language skills are imperative. Additional languages would be an advantage
