Job DescriptionAt Doka, the operations department in MEAAP is a critical function which overlooks and delegates, in close collaboration with the country organizations as well as the Head Quarter and other Areas, all activities necessary to ensure the availability of required material in our Area. Doka is currently looking for a Logistics Manager to join its versatile and growing MEAAP Area team. This position will bebased in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.If you are passionate about global exposure within a cross cultural environment, have an inner drive to take your passion of Logistics to the next level, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.You will be reporting directly to the Head of Operations MEAAP.Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage Material Logistics and inventory levels of Doka items in the Area Middle East Africa & Asia Pacific (MEAAP) Monitor and optimize stock levels for all Doka items to ensure availability at lowest possible costs and inventory levels Support, inform and develop MEAAP countries in all aspects of Material Logistics Implement and maintain new group-wide standards and processes, improve existing processes Develop, support and drive optimisation concepts and share best practices Lead and guide the Area Logistics team and Logistics managers in the MEAAP countries during daily operation Monitor and escalate (non-) availability of material from Doka Production, external suppliers and (non-) release of intercompany demand Act as business partner for Procurement team of MEAAP Ensure accurate forecasting, data quality of demands and supplies as well as return planning in MEAAP countries Maintain correct and relevant master data for MEAAP countries in RapidResponse Act as link and MEAAP voice between Logistics Doka Group, other Areas and MEAAP countries Support implementations and improvements of relevant software tools Ensure and maintain reporting transparency in regards to Material Logistics (with Power BI) Coordinate and execute trainings for MEAAP countries including regular qualification assessment for each country Ensure utilization of statistical declarations Support the execution of direct exports to MEAAP export countriesQualifications Min. 5 years’ experience in Material Logistics and Procurement (preferably in formwork/construction and in Middle East Africa and/ or Asia Pacific) Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Operations related studies is an advantage Knowledge of free trade agreements in Middle East Africa and Asia Pacific Team management experience in an international environment Excellent communication, intercultural and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and go the extra mile Strong analytical skills Well organised and efficient Process and improvement driven Pro-active and solution/target oriented Resilient and decisive Be a role model and inspiring Excellent English language skills Power BI Skills will be a strong advantageLogistics Manager | Middle East Africa & Asia Pacific Jebel Ali Freezone South, Dubai, ae * Full-time
