Job Summary
The Director, Information Technology, is accountable for the smooth 24/7 operations of all major applications, such as, but not limited to, core line of business applications and interfaces across both Atlantis the Royal and Atlantis the Palm. The role will require collaborating closely with other IT subject matter experts, business stakeholders and partners.
The role will also involve managing a large team of IT professionals, providing strategic direction and guidance on day-to-day operations, as well as maintaining consistent delivery of IT support services to the business to satisfy both our internal customers, as well as our hotel guests.
About you
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years’ experience working within Information Technology, within the hospitality sector, and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Director level position, and a BA in computer science or a related field.
You will also have previously worked in large scale dynamic environments, have practical experience managing and delivering tactical operational projects, IT portfolio and IT service delivery disciplines, have strong knowledge and practical experience of application support across hospitality solutions and integrations. (Opera PMS, Simphony, HotSOS, HSIA etc).
Having the ability to work under pressure, manage ambiguity, change, and time constraints will be imperative to being successful in this role.
