Job Opportunity – 3D Designer (Gaming)

DIFX is the world’s first fully insured cross-asset trading platform. This platform was created as a blockchain-based cryptocurrency exchange to bring significant and lasting change to financial markets. This ecosystem offers an all-in-one solution for Digital Currency; made to trade, invest, and stake. We have license from over 16 countries and currently holds 75 employees.
We are looking for stellar Game Designer. In this role you will conceptualize and contribute to blockchain-enabled initiatives, collaborating with the rest of the team on building and maintaining solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop 3D designs for new products.
• Review and enhance 3D designs for existing products.
• Manage documentation of both new and revised 3D designs.
• Understand the project requirements and develop high quality designs accordingly.
• Develop design layouts for complex projects using Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools.
• Develop primary sketches and models for final selection of product designs.
• Review 3D designs and provide recommendations.
• Select materials, engineering standards, and generic parts for 3D product designs.
• Present designs to clients and internal teams clearly.
• Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
• Develop product information packages including drawing specifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Designing, Computer Graphics, Fine Arts, or equivalent
• 3+ years of work experience as a Graphic Designer, Visual Effects Artist, or a similar position in the Design industry
• Complete knowledge of various 3D design techniques like Digital Sculpting, Procedural Modelling, Edge modelling, and Box/Subdivision Modelling
• Familiarity with 3D modelling software such as Blender, Sketchup, or similar.
• Having a strong portfolio of previous artworks and projects
• Understanding and awareness of various Virtual Reality platforms, the tools used to create experiences for these platforms.
• Create wireframes and related documents to illustrate user interfaces/flows.
• Experience with 3D designing in gaming domain is a plus point.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: AED1,000.00 – AED100,000.00 per month
