Diamond Foundry Hiring for Regional Finance Manager Job at Dubai

The Finance Manager is to provide analytical and operational support to the VP Finance (for DF Inc) and also to provide support to the local DF DMCC Sales team.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure UAE company registration and documentation is up to date (DMCC Trade License, SIRA inspection, AOFC inspection, DMCC audit and ESR submission)
• Oversee Lease contracts, Visas and vendor contracts
• Manage quarterly VAT reporting and reconciliation process
• Book local banking transactions in DF DMCC accounts for authorization (payroll as well as local invoicing)
• Own and maintain the shipment reconciliation ledger for rough and polished – submitting data to bookkeepers at required time points
• Consolidate local expenses for DF DMCC entity
• Ensure local team receive adequate AML, CTF and KYC training
• Manage local insurance policies and ensure cover and compliance for diamond stock levels at all times
• Manage relationship with external bookkeepers and ensure DF Inc. receive consolidated financial statements at agreed frequency – validate monthly trial balance, P/L Account and Balance Sheet prepared by outsourced bookkeeper
• Office manager for petty cash, office supplies and utility payments
• Key contact for building management, external accountants and vendors
• Continually search for process improvements to increase efficiency as the trading operation scales.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of financial experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Proficiency in accounting software, preferably NetSuite
• Strong analytical quantitative and Excel skills
• Broad knowledge of accounting skills (US GAAP and IFRS)
• Knowledge of DMCC processes an advantage
