Currently, we are currently looking for a passionate and energetic Operations Manager (Cross Border) to join our Road Freight Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing annual plans and budgets for Cross Border (CB) RF operations, monitoring performance and initiate corrective action where necessary to ensure smooth running of operations keeping costs within budget.
• Designing, developing and executing the CB services for various clients and grow the revenue as described in the budget annually.
• Monitoring and recommending improvements, implementing and managing appropriate policies and procedures, including QHSE, Security, local and international regulations to ensure excellent timely services to Customers.
• Identifying the best suppliers, negotiate the best services and rates, monitor their performances, conduct review with them, qualify/disqualify based on merits.
• Identifying new Routes, Products and Services; prepare business cases, feasibility studies and present to Product Head and Leadership Team for approval.
• Coordinating with all Saloodo Countries; Travel and meet counter parts in these countries to discuss on strategy related to developing the business and sharing the profits.
• Traveling and meeting the Authorities and Service Provides at the borders of UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Jordan and Egypt. Build relations, understand challenges and resolve them with the best-coordinated solutions.
• Ensuring Compliance to the core. Investigate and identify areas of non-compliance and proactively set processes with active support from BPO.
• Implementing CW1 and digitalization to the core.
• Managing capacity by ensuring that the team is staffed with requisite number and caliber of staff to meet its objective, their performance is appraised, they are developed, motivated and encouraged to maximize their capabilities, productivity and contributions.

Essential Requirements

• Excellent knowledge in all aspects of RF in Middle East cross border transportation.
• Financial and commercial acumen.
• Negotiating and interpersonal skills.
• Highly customer centric.
• Ability to lead a team and manage change.
• 8-10 years of experience in Road Freight with thorough knowledge on cross border transportation.
