Job Summary
Lead design team through all phases of interior projects including guiding, advising, and mentoring other designers on projects, developing design direction and leading design critiques/forums
Act as primary design interface with clients
Prepare with the project team documentation for tenders and construction.
Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination
Collaborate on interiors projects, including programming client needs, conceptual and schematic design, design development, and management of budgets and schedules
Participate in business development and marketing effort
Requirements
Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in design
Ability to work in a team environment with good collaboration skills
Excellent presentation abilities
Passionate about design and able to be the design inspiration for multiple highly-creative project teams
Experience directing and providing leadership for design teams from business development presentations through developing strategy and design concepts
Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills
Ability to provide critical design review to design teams, communicating design ideas and direction quickly
Demonstrated success building, nurturing and fostering new client relationships
Manage cost control for corporate office turnkey and consulting projects. Assume over a responsibility for profit and loss
