Our German client is a leading supplier of equipment in the construction industry. With its global presence, the company offers international growth opportunities. The Regional Sales Manager (m/f/d) MEA role requires extensive traveling in the Middle Eastern and African countries. If you believe that sales still need to happen face-to-face and not only virtually, then you are the person our client is looking for.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Identify and acquire new customers and support existing business in conjunction with distribution channel partners in the MEA region
- Set up measures for a successful customer relationship and business development
- Ensure that products are specified and listed with major projects in the region
- Execute product workshops and assist with technical and commercial service
- Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs
- Coordinate business activities and manage customer queries through distributors
- Follow up on customer issues and liaise with the headquarter in Germany
- Communicate agreements and pricing in consultation with the management
- Evaluate market trends that effect current and future growth and incorporate related information into the sales strategy
- Attend and support on trade fairs in the MEA region
- Report to the General Manager
To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:
- Mechanical Engineering degree, or similar education
- At least 3 years of experience in sales in the construction industry is a must
- Working experience in the Middle East is required
- Proven track of sales growth and a network in the industry is a requirement
- Excellent English language skills, German will be an added value
- High customer orientation and excellent sales skills
- Very good communication skills
- Strategic thinking, conceptual and analytical skills
- Motivated sales personality with hands-on mentality
- Willingness to travel (at least 60%) within the MEA region
