The Head of HR (m/f/d) will find a dynamic working atmosphere with employees from various cultures and ethnical backgrounds working together to implement the company’s vision of becoming the market leader in the GCC region.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Develop and drive the HR strategy in line with the CEO and monitor its execution to ensure achievement of the objectives
- Manage recruitment and selection process to attract quality candidates
- Lead the implementation of recruitment plans in order to attract and retain competent colleagues
- Manage senior management ensuring timely and effective recruitment and on-boarding
- Implement employee engagement initiatives across the company
- Lead the implementation of the talent management framework to build a highly competent workforce and a culture of achievement as well as to consistently recognize, reward and retain top talent
- Ensure training programs and development opportunities are deployed at a consistently high standard and aligned with business needs
- Ensure all activities in performance management process are effectively executed
- Regularly coach, mentor and support colleagues to identify individual strengths and development needs, develop and maintain effective relationships and encourage retention
- Direct the delivery of employee relations services, including employee grievances and disciplinary action, by investigating cases and recommending conclusions, in order to ensure that all disputes are resolved in a fair and timely manner
- Consult on workforce planning activities in order to optimize staffing levels and productivity
- Lead the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and standardisation of HR systems and processes
- Ensure consistent standard of customer service and health & safety procedures
- Ensure the effective implementation of company-wide Human Resources policies, procedures and practices in accordance with the company objectives and UAE legislative requirements
- Reporting to the CEO
To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources Management or equivalent
- At least 5 years of working experience in a similar role in the Middle East
- Good knowledge of UAE labor legislation
- Excellent English language skills, German languages skills would be an added value
- Strong knowledge of key HR frameworks such as employment law, organizational planning, organization development and talent management
- Capable of developing, articulating and implementing business strategies and initiatives
- Possesses strong problem-solving, reasoning and analytical abilities and a strategic thinker
- Proven managerial and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
