Together as one team, We Are Here to Move.Objectives of the roleResponsible for the operation of a section within the Warehouse function in compliance with the company’s policies and vision.Supporting the Management Team with the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, responsible for a group of Warehouse Operators and assistants and ensuring an efficient warehouse operation in achieving business targets. Provide line management to the team, coordinating their workloads, providing support to ensure that the team delivers, monitoring any issues, and ensuring production targets, KPIs, and quality standards are met to meet the requirements of the customer.The role would also require the individual to validate and maintain all data pertaining to the billing of the assigned group and support the Operations Manager towards driving daily task completionDevelop the team by focusing on individual performance and support requirements to achieve high standards, whilst fostering a culture of working safely. Work under general supervision, reviewed by Management. In case of any escalation the WH team leader would be required to communicate, escalate, and coordinate with the Contract Managers and the Operations Manager.Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures. ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.Plan and prioritize work assignments for the team to ensure optimal workflow and productivity.Train and develop team members on proper warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and company policies.Monitor and enforce compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain quality control and accuracy of inventory.Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement, logistics, and customer service, to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfilment.Oversee inventory management and conduct regular cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficient warehouse practices to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.To report any all incidents, hazards, and unsafe practices in the working environment to the Operations Manager and QSHE team in a timely manner as per the relevant working instructionsResolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the team and address performance concerns through coaching and mentoring.Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, including productivity metrics, inventory levels, and order fulfilment rates.Act as single point of contact for any relevant operational (for the respective group) issues. Suggest (Internal / external) processes optimization in collaboration with Operations excellence team. At least 3 years local market experience in LogisticsExperience with automotive spare parts warehousing is an advantageProficiency with warehouse procedures and policiesExcellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualitiesProven ability to implement process improvement initiativesAbility to work collaboratively with all levels of company staffAbility to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbalAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by operational needs.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and demands.
