Database Developer Job DescriptionDice is seeking a highly skilled Database Developer to join our team at Mindgadget Inc.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop complex database systems using MySQL, Oracle, and Hive SQL.Optimize database performance by tuning queries and implementing efficient data storage solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with cloud-based systems.Develop and maintain large-scale databases with multi-terabyte storage capacity.Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in big data technologies, including Spark SQL and HDFS.Work closely with investment banking and financial sector teams to understand their database needs.Develop and implement robust database security measures to protect sensitive data.Provide expert-level support for database-related issues and troubleshoot complex problems.Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure database solutions meet business requirements.Requirements:Minimum 8 years of experience in database development and administration.Strong understanding of database architecture and performance tuning.Experience with cloud-based systems, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.Proficient in query tuning and debugging.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work in a virtual team environment.
