Job Description
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for an Installed Base Internship opportunity based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You will be responsible for collecting and entering data in databases and maintaining accurate records of valuable information related to installed equipment in Middle East and Africa region.
This is a time-limited internship and the role reports to the Service Manager – MENA.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following.
- Prepare, compile and sort documents according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry
- Check source documents/ information for accuracy
- Entering data in databases and maintaining accurate records of information related to installed equipment
- Review, verify and correct data where necessary. Update existing data
- Insert customer and equipment data by inputting text based and numerical information from source documents within time limits
- Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents/ details
- Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations and perform backup operations to ensure data preservation
- Scan documents and print files, when needed
- Store scanned documents in designated locations
- Keep information confidential
- Maintain logbooks or records of activities and tasks
- Generate weekly and monthly reports

- Undergraduate or graduate in any discipline
- Formal computer training an advantage
- Proficient in relevant computer applications such as MS Office and data programs
- Accurate keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data at the required speed
- Knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
- Experience in using office equipment, like printer and scanner
- Planning and organizing skills
- Good time-management skills
- Communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
- Fluent in English
