The Objective of the Role:

The team ‘Planning & Reporting’ within the Daimler Trucks Sales business unit continuously strives to enhance the toolset for the Sales business planning, analysis, and reporting. Further, ensure a high-quality database and prepare the planning and reporting toolset for the business unit. Provide support for data collection and processing as well as for reporting systems. Operational excellence through the provision of both, accuracy and the highest possible transparency to the DCV MENA Management and Sales teams and Daimler Headquarters. Ensure close and collaborative interaction with all relevant cross-functional stakeholders.

Main Tasks Overview:

Business Steering Model and General Distributor Target Agreements (TA )
Support the enhancement and further development of the DCV MENA Sales Business Steering Model (quantitative and qualitative logic) according to business requirements and Market Management steering needs on a yearly recurring basis; thereby creating a sound framework for the Sales Force for regional exploitation development and individual General Distributor (GD) professionalization by explicit Target Agreements .
Contribute to the guideline and associated policies and support the approval process of TA in coordination with CSP colleagues Evaluate and illustrate the financial impact of the bonus relevant components defined by Market Management together with the relevant F&C departments (incl. accruals) Create business KPI data set for Sales Regional Management for the establishment of the GD Target Agreements; support regular/periodical checks of the target fulfillment status and business performance.

Vehicle Sales Business Planning, analysis, and reporting

Coordination of the short-and long-term planning process (Kufri / Strategic Planning) for Daimler Trucks assuring to meet of given deadlines by communicating timelines and overall planning guidelines on a periodic basis to the sales teams responsible Preparation of all short-term planning-related templates incl. actuals, production, deliveries, retail, and stock Quality check, and consolidate planning inputs from different sales teams and finalization of the planning in PRISMA Create and keep up-to-date an instructions manual that documents necessary steps Responsibility for all short-term related reports in the agreed timeline to DTO, internal management, and General Distributors (e.g. Weekly report, Monthly report, Country report, Quarterly report, Kufri report) Collect consolidated MB Trucks and Fuso production requirements, and continuously provide updates on production quota status. Communicate production allocation deadlines on a monthly basis Create and keep an up-to-date instructions manual that documents necessary steps Support internal management, DAG with the preparation of ad-hoc analyses or reports Support internal management, DAG with the preparation of presentations

Data Management and Tools/Systems

Continuously monitor, document, and improve Sales business processes with relevant teams/departments within DCV MENA and headquarters.
Provide guidelines and updates on processes and timelines for data collection from various sources (e.g. GDs, RSMs, DTO) and IT systems (e.g. AFAB, MAPIS, WINGS, PRISMA), mainly managed by sales teams Responsibility for data reporting (reported information must be consistent) Ensure correct reporting by GDs, correct data collection from data sources (IT systems), and feedback to sales teams to ensure corrective action has been taken if needed Ensure sending out reminders for regular reporting processes (WINGS, Kufri, deadlines) to sales teams Ensure all information sources (Kufri, Weekly Report, WINGS) have a consistent and common data basis Responsibility for annual inventory (check retail, factory stock, and GD stock numbers), and feedback to sales teams to ensure corrective action has been taken if needed Provide support and conduct training for reporting systems (e.g. AFAB, MAPIS, WINGS, PRISMA, PowerBI) Ensure the on-time-upload of VIN No to the GSO online system for all vehicles sold via the GD dealer network and via external Daimler Entities Ensure the GEMS user administration for Daimler Trucks users for all relevant systems for Sales and CSP personnel integrity.

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements for the Role:
Training/Educational background
Graduate (business administration, vehicle engineering, information technology or similar); experience in Business Intelligence/Reporting/Financing/Vehicle Engineering preferred.
Experience Requirements for the Role:
3 years of experience in a Planning/Reporting/Controlling/Vehicle Engineering or IT-related function is preferred
Specific Knowledge Requirements for the Role:
Sound analytical skills; solid understanding of business/financial interrelations and interdependencies Stakeholder-oriented thinking and acting; good competence to deal with contrary situations and overcoming resistances; Professional utilization of standard PC programs (Windows OS, PowerBI Outlook, Office suite) and advanced Excel. Experience in vehicle engineering & homologation preferred. Experience with databases/data management advantageous. Middle East region cultural experience preferred
Languages Requirements for the Role:
English is compulsory; Arabic, French, or German is preferred
