Job Description Chief Information Officer Group : Daimler Truck AG We are looking for a Chief Information Officer, who will be responsible for all IT relevant issues of the company including landscape strategy, planning, budgeting, build and operations of relevant IT applications within DCV MENA and RC Africa.

Planning and reporting of internal IT budget and alignment with DTO IT Budget. Manage balance between cost optimization/reduction, fulfilment of business requirements, business risk exposure. Negotiate SLAs and contracts with external partners. Ensure transparency in pricing/performance/projects. Provide clear leadership, direction / strategy and moti vate IT staff. Communicate IT and market specific decisions to IT team. Line and staff management as per standard management responsibilities. Align IT knowhow to market needs and guarantee effective IT team.

Qualifications

Educational Requirements:
University degree in Information technology, Engineering or Management

Experience and Specific Knowledge Requirements:

5-8 years relevant IT experience Experience with Application management and IT Vendor steering Team management experience Business process management knowledge Incident management skills with system orientations Information security knowledge and governance experience Profound computer skills, esp. MS Office, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud is a plus
