Cotecna Hiring for Data Analyst cum Executive Assistant Job at Dubai Full Time

The Data Analyst cum Executive Assistant will have the responsibility to work as per the instructions and in collaboration with Director – VoC & Commodities to support the business lines in the region. Apart from other responsibilities listed below, the major portfolio of this position shall be to research, collect, store, analyse and to present the data in a presentable and graphical form to the stakeholders in order to make informed business analysis and decisions. The role holder takes ownership in executing day to day tasks as assigned in compliance with the policies and procedures of the Group.

Main Accountabilities

• Analyze the performances of different business units (BU) in Middle East and in region and preparation of monthly report on regional/BU performance
• Prepare an executive summary on BU performances highlighting key developments, positive and negative swings and discuss the same with direct manager
• Prepare the Capex Applications and Project Reports in consultations with Business Units and discuss with direct manager; further help analysing the low performing units
• Identifying data sources, conducting market studies and collaborating with the internal and external business stakeholders in order to collect various data points.
• Using his/her expertise and tools in order to review and analyze the data collected and interpreting of the data and preparation of business presentation which includes clear
• identification of trends, graphical representation, management dashboards and analysis which would help to produce and track key performance indicators of the business.
• Design and implement templates, tools, documents and processes in order to streamline the data collection and reporting of inference from the analyzed data to the business lines.
• Further shall ensure to store/maintain the quality data in the database.
• Communicate and track key performance metrics across department, identify business opportunities and enforce preventive discrepancies
• Preparation of Management Information reports from time to time as ascertained by the direct manager. This includes business insights, market trends and competitor information/benchmarking data.

Executive Assistant:

• Providing administrative and secretarial assistance to the Director – VoC & Commodities (Middle East) which includes, but not limited to creation of emails, MIS reports, reminders/follow up mails, preparing presentations, preparing communications both internal employees and external customers.
• Creation, maintenance of various administrative documents and reports.
• Scheduling and organizing various internal and external meetings on behalf of Director – VoC & Commodities (Middle East)
• Managing the calendar of the reporting manager and also preparing and communicating the minutes of the meeting as needed.
• Ensure to make necessary travel arrangements of the reporting manager including hotel booking, flight booking, visa arrangements etc.
• Any other tasks assigned by the reporting manager or any authorized manager.

Qualifications, Experience and Technical Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferably finance); Master’s degree would be advantageous
• Ideal candidate should have min 5 years of experience of business operations and at least 3 year experience in Business Analysis
• Strong verbal and written communication; Excellent language proficiency in English
• In depth understanding & experience of data analytics, data models, presentation and preparation of graphs
• Excellent understanding of the business and financial aspects of the businesses
• Strong computer proficiency including Ms. Office tools (Ms. Word, Excel, Powerpoint), analytical tools
• Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
