**Job Title:** Core Infrastructure SpecialistAbout the CompanyOxford Knight is a blockchain innovation lab focused on building a crypto exchange. As a Core Infrastructure Specialist, you will be part of a fearless team that applies their skills to the emerging blockchain space and solves complex challenges.ResponsibilitiesArchitect and deploy globally distributed, fault-tolerant solutions using AWS services.Support project and operational teams through the adoption of GitOps, continuous delivery pipelines, and DevSecOps security capabilities.Investigate and optimize infrastructure to support highest quality data channels.Manage and maintain distributed compute through configuration, hardening, and patching.Monitor distributed and varied infrastructure systematically.Suggest and implement automations, services, and features that improve overall organization efficiency.Rapidly deploy lean software and iteratively support, extend, and elevate to production-grade systems.RequirementsExpert knowledge of AWS (multi-region, multi-account administration).Deep understanding of Linux/Unix-like operating systems.Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.Strong IaC, templating, scripting skills (Terraform, Helm, YAML, Bash, Python).Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.Intimate experience with container orchestration systems and underlying technologies (K8s, Docker, containerd).Adherence to distributed cloud computing principles (networking, observability, high availability, reproducible and composable systems).Experience working with zero-trust security models and implementing modern security best practices within an AWS operating environment.Demonstrated ability to work in a global team environment.Desired QualificationsStrong academics in Computer Science or Software Engineering from a top-tier university.Background in development/engineering.Working knowledge configuring VPNs and site-to-site network access patterns.Working knowledge or interest in web3 technologies and their applications.
