Activities
CFT (CALL FOR TENDER) Phase:
Assistance to technical teams during the pre-qualification phase on contractual issues.
Assistance to technical teams in the development of the list of potential bidders in conjunction with C&P and compliance departments.
Assist the Project Control Leader and Project Manager in the development of the various contractual strategies.
Preparation of Tender documents, including contractual conditions, pricing & planning conditions.
Prepare the Contracts Agreement in close relation with Legal departments and C&P.
Leader the development of technical Exhibits with the support from Technical Teams
Ensure the consistency of all documents sent out for tenders.
Participate/lead in contractual & commercial clarifications raised by bidders with the support of Legal or C&P if necessary
Ensure compliance with the rules and standards established by the Project relating to tendering & contractual procedures.
Participation in the recommendations of the Calls for Tenders.
Final preparation of the contract(s) for their signature(s).
Enter contracts/orders in UNISUP
Ensure the validation circuit of contractual documents in SAP / UNISUP
Ensure regular reporting of its activity and the activity of the contract team to the Project Control Leader
Contract’s Administration Phase:
Management of the contract/calls on contracts in SAP/UNISUP
Ensure the administration of the current contract, including interfaces with cost control, etc.
Support the technical teams in the management of exchange orders & amendments as needed
Will Draft the Letters, COR, COI and amendment related to different Contracts and Purchase Orders.
Ensure compliance with the rules established by Total & by the Project relating to contractual procedures.
Goals
As Contract Engineer you are responsible for the legal, contractual and commercial part of the future EPsCa Contract, Purchase Orders (around 100 PO’s to be placed by COMPANY), Main Construction Contracts (3 to 4 Contracts) and frame engineering and construction works contracts for modifications of the existing facilities (CPF and WellPad’s, with a view to economic optimization, overall consistency and ensuring the protection of interests the Company.
You shall ensure that company policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures are enforced and shall take any action necessary to maintain the quality of Contracts administration activities to the highest level.
Qualifications/Experience required
We are looking for a Contract Engineer with a very good knowledge of the companies’ Contract and procurement rules, guidelines and procedures.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or lawyer.
Fluent in English, Excellent English Writing and Negotiation
15 years of experience in the oil industry, with significant experience in similar position.
Knowledge of upstream oil sector, Contracts-Purchases, Legal and legal environment, SAP/UNISUP, Insurance, Taxation and Safety-Environment.
Professional Experience (number of years): 15
First Stage: the position holder will spend 3 to 6 months in Paris or Pau in the C&P Offices.
