We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as a Cashier Cum Admin at our bustling Restaurant and Catering Business. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth financial transactions, administrative operations, and vendor management. Cashier Responsibilities:Greet customers warmly and provide them with an engaging and positive experience.Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately and efficiently.Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process orders and payments.Maintain a balanced cash drawer and reconcile transactions at the end of each shift.Ensure pricing accuracy and handle discounts or promotions as per company policies.Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers as needed.Assist in managing birthday/catering events, takeout orders, and delivery orders.Respond to customer inquiries regarding menu items, prices, and general information.Administrative Responsibilities:Manage relationships with suppliers/vendors and place orders based on operational needs.Log invoices of vendors and suppliers into the system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Coordinate internally for the dispatch of bulk orders and ensure timely delivery.Prepare and print customer meal and shipping labels accurately.Verify that bulk orders are correct and aligned with cooking orders.Print and prepare cooking sheets for the kitchen operation, communicating any changes.Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth order execution and timely preparation.Coordinate with delivery companies to schedule dispatch timings and ensure on-time delivery.Qualifications and Skills:High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant training is a plus.Proven experience in cashiering, customer service, administration, and vendor management.Strong numerical skills and accuracy in handling cash transactions.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.PIC Qualification is a plusBenefits:Competitive compensation based on experience.Opportunities for growth and advancement within the organization.Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position’s responsibilities and requirements.
