Job Description
The Multi-Skilled Technician Foreman is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department. This includes overseeing the work of a team of technicians, planning and scheduling preventive maintenance activities, and responding to breakdowns and repairs. The Foreman must be a highly skilled technician with a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. must also be able to effectively manage and motivate a team of employees.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the work of a team of technicians
Plan and schedule preventive maintenance activities
Respond to breakdowns and repairs
Maintain and update the maintenance records
Purchase and order supplies and materials
Inspect and test equipment for safety and compliance
Train and develop new employees
Prepare reports and presentations
Comply with all safety and health regulations
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years of experience as a technician
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems and doors & windows installation ( steel, wood & alluminium )
Experience with preventive maintenance and repair
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
